In The Ear OPERA CIC-M
Product Information
OPERA CIC-M is a completely-in the-canal digital hearing aid with 4 memories, suitable for users with Mild to Moderately Severe hearing losses, ranging approximately from 10 to 60 dBHL, including those with recruitment.
The four-channel amplifier processor realizes the WDRC system (Wide Dynamic Range Compression). The digital signal processor enables strong circuital flexibility, permitting to change independently in every channel gain for soft, medium and loud sounds, input/output curve, AGC attack and release time, three crossover frequencies ("separating" the adjacent channels).
Large dynamic range permits high level signals processing with minimum non-linear distortions. This allows a wide range of the frequency response configuration and input/output curve variation thus fitting the hearing aid to great variety of the user's hearing losses. Single slow/fast, twin average/peak detectors can be selected. Twin average detector determines the acoustic conditions of the environment adjusting the gain depending on temporal characteristics of the incoming sounds.
The system is able to set long or short attack and recovery times depending on if the sound is stationary or impulsive. Low level expansion and notch filter are available which permit correspondingly to make almost inaudible low level noise-type sounds and to supress feedback.
Four memories with full configuration are available allowing hearing aid parameters storage optimized for different patients needs and environmental conditions. Tone generator incorporated permits to conduct tonal audiometry in the real ear conditions which delivers more precise pre-fitting information.
OPERA CIC-M assures the best fitting and comfortable hearing.
Features
Digital circuit permits the adjustment of:
• - overall acoustic gain;
• - maximum output sound pressure level;
• - channel's gain simultaneously for soft, medium and loud sounds;
• - channel's AGC and overall AGCO attack and release time;
• - crossover frequency;
• - low level expansion threshold and attack and release time;
• - notch filter center frequency, bandwidth and depth or to set gain dependent dynamic depth.
Internal tone generator.
ON/OFF by cord extractor (patented system).
